Brace yourself for a transformative journey. Pluto will lead you into the darkest shadows, where hidden treasures await. This journey will unlock unique gifts, guiding you to your highest potential and a more fulfilling life.

Are you up for the challenge?

If so, let’s find where Pluto resides in your birth chart.

Where Is Pluto in My Birth Chart?

Step 1: Gather Your Birth Details

To locate Pluto’s house position, you’ll first need your birth date, time, and place. If you don’t have these to hand, it’s time to do some detective work.

Try birth certificates, medical notes, or relatives. Sometimes you may even find this information written on the back of a polaroid photo!

Step 2: Free Birth Chart from Cafe Astrology

Click on the link below. This will take you to an online form where you’ll be asked to enter your birth information.

Please note – I’m not affiliated with this website. It’s just the one I use most often for free birth charts.

Step 3: Form Completion

Step 3: Fill in the details to get your birth chart information

Fill in the form with your birth details.

Please note – If you check the box next to ‘Unknown Time’, you won’t get the correct house placement for Pluto (or any of the other planets). You will, however, get the correct planet signs, e.g. Pluto in Libra, Pluto in Scorpio etc.

When you’ve entered all the information correctly, click ‘OK’ at the bottom of the form.

Step 4: Uncover Pluto’s Zodiac Sign and House

You now have your very own Natal Chart Report!

We’re focusing on Pluto today, so scroll down to the first table in the document. Here you’ll find the zodiac sign Pluto was in at your time of birth, and the number of degrees it was into that sign.

Step 4: Pluto sign and degrees in birth chart

In the example above we see that Pluto was at 9 degrees of Scorpio when I was born.

This information is valuable, so make a note of it.

But this table doesn’t tell us Pluto’s house placement. For that we need to scroll on to the next table (see example below):

Step 4: Check what house Pluto is in

This table tells me that Pluto was in the 4th house of my birth chart when I was born.

Step 5: What House Is Pluto In My Chart? Decipher Pluto’s House Number

You’ll notice that the house numbers are presented as Roman numerals. You can decode your Pluto house number using the chart below.

Understanding the Impact of Pluto in Your Birth Chart

There are 12 houses in your natal chart, and each house relates to a different area of life.

The house Pluto is in shows you where your soul intends to evolve in this lifetime.

Your soul wants to break free from old pain and trauma in this area. To move past unconscious limitations.

And for that to happen you will be faced with recurring challenges relating to Pluto’s house placement.

The changes that Pluto brings are not comfortable. They bring endings and new beginnings – death and rebirth. There is no going back. Trust me when I tell you this – Pluto is dominant in my birth chart and I have had (and continue to have) my fair share of Plutonian crises.

Here’s what Pluto and life experience have taught me so far.

Don’t resist change. You see, the only constant in life is change. It will happen regardless of whether or not we welcome it. The more we resist change, the more catastrophic the tower moment will be when it arrives.

Easier said than done, I know. So, what can we do to make the ride easier? Well, I’ve found that the best method is to work with Pluto energy rather than fight it.

Use the clues that astrology provides you with to start doing inner work on your own accord.

Don’t wait for Pluto to bring the difficult truths to the surface. Go in search of them yourself, embrace them, and make peace with them.
